Welcome to Curbed Comparisons, where we explore what you can rent for a certain dollar amount in various LA 'hoods. We've found five listings within $100 of today's price: $1,950.

↑ About one mile away from the Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza, this Baldwin Village two-bedroom apartment has its original hardwood floors and new granite counters. The upper-floor apartment measures approximately, 1,005 square feet, holds 1.5 bathrooms, and comes with one off-street parking spot. Rent is $1,950.

↑ This approximately 800-square-foot, one-bedroom apartment in Beverly Grove is pretty much on the border of West Hollywood. The floors are hardwood, the appliances are included, and the kitchen appears to have ample counter space and storage, thanks to cabinets and open shelves. Rent is $1,900.
