Megamansion architect Richard Landry's condo in tony Century City tower is up for grabs

He designed it himself

Thirty floors up in the very pricey The Century condo tower, is the private residence of prolific megamansion architect Richard Landry. It's come on the market, asking $3.795 million.

Landry has designed homes for everyone "from Chinese diplomats to Mark Wahlberg," says a release promoting the property coming to market, but this particular condo, he designed for himself. Landry also designed a mansion for Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady, which they later sold to Dr. Dre. His homes are so big and so over-the-top that, as we've pointed out before, he once called a 4,000-square-foot beach house in Malibu "just a little folly."

His condo in The Century measures a mere 2,280 square feet.

It includes its own "private elevator vestibule" (so you never have to worry that you'll run into your neighbors as you wait for the elevator), remote-controlled window shades, and a kitchen appointed with high-end appliances. The condo also has cozy terrace.

The two-bedroom unit has two and a half bathrooms, including an ensuite bathroom off the second bedroom. The master bedroom features two walk-in closets, a spa-like bathtub, and dual sinks.

Outside the dwelling, there’s The Century’s four acres of guarded, gated property, and 24-hour doorman and valet. The Robert A.M. Stern-designed Century is home to Candy Spelling, performer/former American Idol judge Paula Abdul, and Showgirls’ Elizabeth Berkley.
