After 17 months of work, the historic California Incline in Santa Monica reopens today, giving drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians quicker access to Pacific Coast Highway.

The California Incline is reopening by Labor Day
The road, which is a major route onto PCH, has been closed for more than two years. When it reopens Sept. 1, cyclists will be able to cruise more safely to the beach and north to Malibu via a 16-foot wide protected bike line.
