Naked Donald Trump could be yours

The provocative statue will be auctioned off in October

Calling all art collectors! Looking for a new conversation piece? Something that just can’t be ignored? Boy have we got an item for you.

Earlier this month, activist art collective INDECLINE placed a life-size statue of a nude Donald Trump on Hollywood Boulevard—much to the amusement, shock, and probable dismay of area residents and passersby. Now, that very statue is being auctioned off by Julien's Auctions, with some estimating it could fetch up to $20,000, according to the Los Feliz Ledger.

Still not convinced? What if we told you this was the only well-preserved work of its kind? Though the artists simultaneously installed identical sculptures (entitled "The Emperor Has No Balls") in New York, Cleveland, Seattle, and San Francisco, the Los Angeles iteration is reportedly the only one that was not vandalized or removed by city officials.

The sale is for a cause Trump would most likely hate. According to the Ledger, a portion of the proceeds will go toward the National Immigration Forum.

And for those who simply missed out on seeing the statue up close, Julien’s will be putting it on display alongside other works of street art and contemporary art between October 17 and 22.

We’re eager to see which Hollywood celebrity or art world big shot ends up taking the statue home. Who knows? Perhaps it will be noted art collector and major Trump supporter Geoffrey Palmer.
