↑ This two-bedroom apartment is half a duplex in North Hollywood, "walking distance to North Hollywood Park." The remodeled unit has one bathroom, laminate wood floors, and granite counters, plus wall-mounted air conditioning in the living room and the bedrooms. Dogs and cats under 25 pounds are accepted with a hefty deposit ($500). The rent is $1,695.

↑ The one-bedroom unit for rent here measures just shy of 660 square feet. The compact kitchen looks to have a built-in microwave and granite counters, and the single bedroom has a serviceable closet. The Valley Village complex has a rooftop patio and a central courtyard. Rent is $1,615.

↑ This apartment in Sherman Oaks is close to the 405 Freeway and the Lake Balboa Recreation Area. Judging from the listing photos, the one-bedroom unit has a walk-in closet and a ceiling fan over the dining area. The whole complex has been "newly renovated" and offers a communal spa and patio. Rent is $1,675.

↑ Located about a mile from the soon-to-be-remodeled Burbank Town Center, this one-bedroom apartment comes furnished with a dishwasher, central air, and underground parking. The gated complex also has a pool. Rent is $1,675.

↑ This classy Reseda condo in a lush complex with a pool has a remodeled kitchen, a dishwasher, vaulted ceilings, a tree-covered balcony, and central air conditioning. The one-bedroom apartment comes with parking for two cars and has laundry facilities on-site. Rent here is $1,595.
