In December, rising pop star and tween idol Charlie Puth helped himself to a six-bedroom home in the Hollywood Hills, but it appears he’s already to Marvin Gaye and give it up. There doesn’t seem to be anything particularly wrong with the home—it doesn’t appear to have changed much since it was previously listed—but realtor Mica Rabineau says Puth is looking for a property with a little more land.
Indeed, the 4,350-square-foot Italian-ish villa sits on a comparatively small 6,303-acre-lot, and much of that space is taken up by the saltwater pool and spa. Originally constructed in 1958, it features hardwood flooring throughout and a spacious living room with a high, vaulted ceiling. Marble features and tiles were apparently sourced from Verona, Tuscany and Bologna, and the listing states that "windows, floors, doors, cabinetry, iron work are all custom made in Italy." Multiple balconies extend along the back of the home, providing some pretty nice views across the hills.
Puth, who rose to prominence as a Youtube star and is best known for his collaborations with Meghan Trainor and Wiz Khalifa, purchased the home for $1.9 million. He initially relisted the home in early July with a $2.199 million asking price, but that has since dropped to $2.099 million.
