Apartments in Burbank, WeHo, and Santa Monica

Welcome to Curbed Comparisons, where we explore what you can rent for a certain dollar amount in various LA 'hoods. Our friends at Zumper have helped us out with five listings within $100 of today's price: $1,850.

↑ Barely on the Silver Lake side of the border with East Hollywood, this one-bedroom apartment has been totally redone (new floors, counters, fixtures) and looks it. The 700-square-foot unit rents for $1,895, and pets are allowed for an additional $25 a month.

↑ Not far from Santa Monica College, this one-bedroom apartment has a cute kitchen and a newish-looking bathroom. The complex has a pool and a gym. Rent is $1,770.

↑ This West Hollywood one-bedroom has laminate wood floors, a balcony, and one parking space. The kitchen is slim, but comes with the fridge and stove. The building also has on-site laundry. Rent is $1,750.

↑ Not far from Warner Brothers Studios, this Burbank two-bedroom unit has a cute kitchen with a green tile counter and a couple of ceiling fans. The courtyard apartment has a central garden area with seating and plants. Rent is $1,895.

↑ This Cahuenga Pass one-bedroom measures about 625 square feet, but it has a large, over-200-square-foot deck as part of the deal. The house has hardwood floors and granite counters. The bedroom has a walk-in closet and a seriously cool bathtub that could double as a swimming pool for one. Rent is $1,750.
