Swoon

The Balboa Highlands tract in Granada Hills is a historic group of homes by famed midcentury developer Joseph Eichler, and among them is this flat-roofed gem designed by architect Claude Oakland.

The 1963 home still has its original mahogany paneling and mahogany built-ins in the hallway dating from around same time, plus a great central atrium.

Newer features in the four-bedroom, two-bathroom house include all new floors throughout, an updated kitchen, and a redone backyard and front yard.

On over a quarter acre, the house last traded hands in the 1980s. It’s now listed for $799,995.
