Lots of two-bedrooms, apparently

Welcome to Curbed Comparisons, where we explore what you can rent for a certain dollar amount in various LA 'hoods. Our friends at Zumper have helped us out with five listings within $100 of today's price: $2,200.

↑ This Glendale two-bedroom also has two entrances (front and rear) and has been recently remodeled, from the kitchen to the bathrooms. The apartment’s just around the corner from the local Trader Joe’s and comes with one reserved parking spot. Rent is $2,200.

↑ A few blocks away from the Walt Disney Studios and the equestrian part of town, this Burbank two-bedroom comes with new kitchen appliances and countertops, new carpet, in-unit laundry machines, and central air conditioning and heating. It also comes with two tandem parking spots. Rent is $2,295.

↑ This pet-friendly two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment in Valley Glen is advertised as "all new throughout," and with that sparkly kitchen backsplash, it’s easy to believe. The unit has a private balcony off the kitchen, plus two parking spots, hardwood floors, access to a swimming pool, and central air and heating. There are laundry machines on the premises. Rent is $2,150.

↑ This two-bedroom corner unit is located in an LA River-adjacent complex in Studio City. The 900-square-foot apartment has new laminate wood floors throughout and a balcony. The slim kitchen includes a dishwasher, but maybe not a fridge. Shared laundry machines are available, and two parking spaces come with the apartment. Rent is $2,100.

↑ This Sherman Oaks two-bedroom is in a building with a communal pool—always a plus. The 1,000-square-foot apartment has carpeted floors and a ceiling fan over the dining area, in addition to plenty of space. Laundry is available through on-site facilities. Rent is $2,150.
