Rent in Los Feliz, Westlake, or Hollywood

Welcome to Curbed Comparisons, where we explore what you can rent for a certain dollar amount in various LA 'hoods. Our friends at Zumper have helped us out with five listings within $100 of today's price: $1,200.

↑ This pink Los Feliz studio comes with a fridge and a stove. The ceiling fan in the living room doesn’t seem like much but every little bit helps in the summer. The building has on-site laundry, and parking (though it is limited). Rent is $1,295.

↑ Located just a couple blocks away from a police station, this Canoga Park one-bedroom apartment boasts fancy counters, a ceiling fan, on-site laundry facilities, and access to a swimming pool. Rent is $1,250.

↑ This Westlake studio near Wilshire and Bonnie Brae has new floors, new kitchen appliances, and "engineered wood floors." Parking is available but costs extra, and the building has washers and dryers for tenants. Rent is $1,195.

↑ A new stove and fridge come with this Hollywood studio unit. Just about two blocks from the Hollywood/Western Red Line stop and walking distance to Franklin Village, the upstairs apartment rents for $1,150.

↑ The photos of this Pico Union studio apartment aren’t of the exact unit up for rent, but they give potential tenants the gist of what’s in store. The unit pictured has a main room with a ceiling fan, a bathroom with a shower but no tub, and a kitchen with a fair amount of counter space. Located "on a residential avenue, close to all stores," it rents for $1,150.
