5 High-Dollar LA Homes With Sick Pools

Properties to make sunbathers jealous

In the summer heat, wouldn’t it be nice to soak up the sun and cool off in a beautiful pool with mind-blowing views? For most of us, this isn’t reality, so until then, we’ll find pleasure looking through these photos of mansions where some of the lucky ones live.

Here are five properties on the market right now in the Los Angeles area with dynamite pools.

83556 Sunset View Drive, Los Angeles: If pool parties aren’t being thrown at this modern property above the Sunset Strip on the regular, the space is being wasted. The sleek pool is perched on the edge of a concrete deck, abutting glass walls, which gives it that infinity look and, at night, also allows for expansive views of twinkling city lights.

27 Beverly Park Terrace, Beverly Hills Post Office: The bottom of this pool is embellished with a beautiful mosaic of a giant blue rose. The surrounding pool pavilion boasts two bathrooms and a full outdoor kitchen.

6902 Wildlife, Malibu: It doesn’t get more tranquil than this "oversized" pool and spa enveloped in lush grass and palms and a stone patio for lounging. As if that weren’t enticing enough, the listing says, "this gated Point Dume Estate [comes] complete with a private path to the beach and coveted keys to Little Dume Beach."

30826 Broad Beach, Malibu: Here’s another gorgeous pool in Malibu. This house is on the sand and its distinctly Moroccan architecture carries through to the pool, which is set against a white stucco veranda inset with arches and where green and white tiles have been laid in chevron pattern.

1 Ritz Cove Drive, Dana Point: Farther south in Orange County, this pool, from certain angles, appears to flow right into the Pacific Ocean. The pool and spa sit on a landscaped bluff just above the beach.
