LA Pride Parade Marches On, Vigil Planned for Monday Night

New, 3 comments

In spite of the terrible mass shooting in Orlando, Angelenos flocked to West Hollywood to show love for the LGBT community

A morning of terror and tragedy could not derail this year’s LA Pride parade. Though it was nearly called off after the terrible mass shooting in Orlando, the parade went on Sunday as scheduled, with marchers and spectators showing up in full force. Many in the parade honored the victims of the tragedy with moving tributes. Vigils for the victims will be held around the country, including a vigil hosted by the Los Angeles LGBT Center at 7 p.m. today (Monday, June 13) at Los Angeles City Hall City Hall, 200 N. Spring St.

Below are a few highlights from the parade, courtesy of social media.
