The Marina del Rey home of action star and martial artist Jean-Claude Van Damme came on the market last summer, asking a bold $9.999 million, which seemed like a lot. Turns out, it was: the house just sold for $7.25 million, says Trulia, to none other than rapper/actor Ice Cube. The Bloodspot star bought the place for $6 million in 2012, so he's still made a tidy profit.
The residence sits in the Silver Strand section of MdR, right on the Grand Canal, and has six bedroom suites, a gym, an elevator, a rooftop deck with a pool, and a large terrace. It's not clear yet what the Ride Along and 22 Jump Street actor's planning to do with the multi-story MdR house; his long-time main residence is in Encino, but maybe he's looking for a place to escape to that's less landlocked?
