Snapchat co-founder and CEO Evan Spiegel and model Miranda Kerr have purchased an impressive Gerard Colcord-designed home in Brentwood for $12 million, TMZ reports. The 7,164 square-foot home belonged to Harrison Ford for nearly 30 years before he sold it back in 2012. The new residence is an upgrade for Spiegel, who finally moved out of his dad's Pacific Palisades house (and into a comparatively modest $3.3 million Brentwood home) in 2014. Since his relationship with Kerr is finally Instagram-official, it seems the young tech billionaire is looking for something a little roomier.
Features of the traditional-style home include some pretty killer views, a pool, gym, and a pool house and guest house. All of this is spread out on a beautiful rolling lawn that stretches across the three-quarter-acre lot. It all seems a little understated for a 25-year-old tech CEO with pretty much unlimited finances, but Spiegel always has his company's $25,000/month Venice penthouse (with rooftop geodesic dome) for more extravagant occasions.
