LAX is the third busiest airport in the US, but probably right around negative three on most people's lists of most tolerable passenger experiences. Sure, it's not LaGuardia, but anyone who has nearly had a heart attack while stuck in a massive traffic jam trying to make their flight—only to discover it's been delayed five hours—will attest that LAX needs some major improvements. Fortunately, it's actually starting to get some. The opening of the Tom Bradley International terminal back in 2013 marked the beginning of a major overhaul for the airport that promises to make the experience of traveling to and from America's second-largest city a little less terrible for everyone. Let's take a look at a timeline of the recent changes, as well as those on the way.
