This 1925 Spanish bungalow in Frogtown last traded hands in early December, and as its previous listing shows, a lot has changed in the six months since. Gone is its incongruous rock-sheathing, replaced with cheerful painted tile. The three-bedroom house has also been endowed with new hardwood floors, a new kitchen and bathrooms, new wood windows, and drought-resistant landscaping. The property's detached garage has been converted to a studio space and its footprint boosted from 1,036 to 1,250 square feet. As one would expect, the LA-River-adjacent home's asking price has likewise ballooned. Last purchased for $460,000, it's now listed at $749,000. Open house is scheduled for Sunday, May 29 between 1 and 4 p.m.
