Universal Studios Hollywood has been adding all kinds of attractions to its arsenal lately, with a big bump in ticket prices to prove it. Only a little over a month after opening a much-anticipated new Harry Potter-themed addition to the park, Universal has announced that an attraction based on AMC's The Walking Dead will open July 4. They've also released a behind-the-scenes video about the making of the new park feature.
As USA Today reports, the attraction will feature makeup effects and replicas of props that have appeared on the show. Walkers from the show have previously shown up in the seasonal Halloween Horror Nights maze, but this new exhibit will be a year-round walk-through attraction.
If the video is any indication, the exhibit will be filled with some pretty realistic-looking undead creatures. Props technicians are using molds used to create some of the show's most memorable walkers, as well as new molds that promise to yield new terrors.
