Jason Segel Selling Woodsy Retreat in Los Feliz

The funnyman's ranch-style home is asking $1.599 million.

Actor, comedian, and screenwriter Jason Segel (of How I Met Your Mother, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, and The Muppets) is parting ways with a woodsy in Los Feliz. As Trulia reports, Segel purchased the four-bedroom ranch-style home just over a year ago for $1.4 million. Now, it's back on the market for a modest $199,000 increase. Back in February, Segel paid $1.835 million—$415,000 over asking price—for the former home of street artist Shepard Fairey, also in Los Feliz.

The 1,926 square-foot home that Segel is parting with was constructed in 1939 and features plenty of balconies and patios to admire the impressive views. There's also an elegant master suite with a cavernous walk-in closet (currently home to an impressive hat collection) and a cool shower with a rounded entryway. The back of the house has lots of room for lounging amid the surrounding vegetation. There's also an outdoor kitchen and bar for entertaining. The asking price for this pleasant Hollywood Hills home is $1.599 million.
