Fred Armisen Buys Elegant English-Style Home in Los Feliz

The Portlandia star has replaced his Silver Lake bungalow with a staid two-level near Griffith Park

Portlandia star Fred Armisen, who put his Silver Lake bungalow on the market earlier this month, looks to be relocating to Los Feliz, according to the LA Times. And though that neighborhood is not without its own hipster credentials, the traditional English-style house that Armisen has purchased suggests the comedian and post-hardcore drummer may be settling into a more traditionally domestic lifestyle.

The five-bedroom, four-bath home features hardwood floors, a living room with French doors and a fireplace, and a master bedroom complete with a walk-in closet and a "luxurious en-suite bath." Close to Griffith Park, the 3,491-square-foot house offers impressive views facing both the park and Downtown. Several outdoor patios line the red brick exterior, and it looks like there's a pleasant little yard in the back.

One thing's for sure, Armisen seems to have a thing for 1927. That was the year both this house and his recently sold residence were constructed.
