Apartments in Studio City, Beverly Grove, and more

Welcome to Curbed Comparisons, where we explore what you can rent for a certain dollar amount in various LA 'hoods. Our friends at Zumper have helped us out with five listings within $100 of today's price: $2,150.

↑ Northern Koreatown is where this lovely two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment is located. An in-unit washer and dryer, original hardwood floors (refinished, of course), and a dishwasher are just some of the perks in this unit, which also comes with a garage for parking. Rent is $2,195.

↑ Large windows, wood floors, and a formal dining room come with this Beverly Grove one-bedroom. The kitchen is a little awkwardly laid out, but the stove and fridge are new at least. The upstairs unit rents for $2,100.

↑ This Studio City one-bedroom also has its own private laundry facilities, along with reserved parking, a balcony, and pool access. The whole unit's been remodeled, too, so it has new granite counters, carpet, and wood floors. Rent is $2,050.

↑ This Cheviot Hills two-bedroom has all new appliances, two assigned parking spots, and all new kitchen appliances (fridge, dishwasher, stove, microwave). The remodeled bathroom has a shower, a tub, and an "Additional Standing Shower" to boot (and to make up for the apartment only having one bathroom). Rent is $2,190, which is 34 percent less than the median two-bedroom in the area, Zumper says.

↑ Not far from Fairfax and Santa Monica in West Hollywood, this two-bedroom's balcony has a pretty good view. The apartment has wood floors, on-site (but not in-unit) laundry, and includes parking. There's also a pool. Rent is $2,250.
