When Kourtney Kardashian moved into her six-bedroom home in Calabasas, many wondered if she could match the interior decoration at her former abode in terms of sheer weirdness. She hasn't. Actually, as you can see in this video from Architectural Digest, the design choices are fairly restrained. But the short video is still kind of mesmerizing in its odd fixation on the individual objects filling Kardashian's tasteful home.
In the video, Kardashian and celebrity designer Martyn Lawrence Bullard, who for some reason sounds like he is in a cave, take turns inventorying some of the items she has selected to fill her home. Kardashian seems a bit like she is giving a book report ("I love these lamps because they're vintage") while Bullard offers the specifics about the design and provenance of the objects.
Either way, the music is relaxing and it's fun to watch the items go by and to admire Kardashian's impressive collection of coffee table books. There are also a few strange moments in which cabinets and doors appear to open on their own. The whole effect is actually somewhat magical.
