Reality Star/Model Janice Dickinson Selling 'Eclectic' Benedict Canyon Retreat

The bright red house has a Buddha fountain and carved wood doors

The Benedict Canyon home of current reality star and former model Janice Dickinson came on the market three days ago; the house, Variety reports, is actually under the name of Dickinson's long-time boyfriend, psychiatrist Robert Gerner. Dickinson, incidentally, announced today that she has early-stage breast cancer.

From its bright red exterior to its "custom Buddha fountain," the pair's three-bedroom, three-bathroom house is unusual (it's described as an "eclectic canyon retreat"). The listing for the house notes the hand-carved wooden doors (see the entry to the house), the French doors, the hardwood floors, and the wrought iron chandeliers.

The split-level residence has exposed beams and a stone fireplace in the living room, a remodeled kitchen with a very handy island, and, in the master bedroom, a dangerous amount of white marble and mirrors. Outside spaces include an outdoor seating areas, a fountain, a koi pond, and a "yoga terrace."

Gerner bought the roughly 2,700-square-foot house and its property in 2012, paying $1.43 million. Now the place is listed for $1.995 million.
