This Sunday is the last day that visitors to Echo Park Lake will see a library on a raft floating across the water. The Floating Library, from Echo Park-based art organization Machine Project and set to coincide with the LA Art Book Fair, is reachable by rented paddle boat and open from 11 am to 4 pm. City Librarian John Szabo has already stopped by, and so have many more curious paddlers who've taken some cool pictures of what awaits those who check out this watery, literary wonder.
