Lakers Co-Owner Jim Buss Selling Staples Center-Adjacent Penthouse For $8.8 Million

This penthouse at the Ritz-Carlton Residences at LA Live is a slam dunk. Fitting, as the eye-popping condo belongs to Lakers co-owner Jim Buss, who bought the place in 2013, reports the LA Times. According to the listing, the roughly 4,300-square-foot space holds three bedrooms (with en suite bathrooms) and a total of three full and one half bathrooms. In addition to the dining room, living room, study, and formal entry, the corner unit is also decked out with premium amenities, like Swarovski crystal chandeliers and custom Italian cabinets in the remodeled kitchen.

The penthouse also comes with two parking spaces and access to the tower's rooftop pool and cabanas, gym, and 24-hour valet service. Buss paid $4.05 million for the place in 2013; it's now listed for more than twice that, at $8.8 million.
