New apartment building are popping up across Hollywood, and the latest is the Highland Residences, a six-story development with 76 market rate units that just started leasing.
It’s located 1411 North Highland Avenue, just off Sunset Boulevard, near the big Off Broadway Shoe Warehouse. That puts it in walking distance to the Red Line, Musso and Frank Grill, Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, and Chinese and El Capitan theaters, and all of the other old classics and tourists spots on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The building’s top floor is devoted entirely to penthouses equipped with lights, shades, and thermostats that can be controlled using a smartphone app. On average, they measure about 1,500 square feet and rent from $7,160 to $9,120.
More common folk looking to live below the penthouses can choose from a mix of studios and one- and two-bedrooms with stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, hardwood floors, and in-unit washer and dryer hookups. Rents start at $2,397 and max out at $6,144.
The rooftop boasts a swimming pool and gym. Elsewhere on the property, there’s a pet park and outdoor fireplaces. Developer LMC also says it’s offering, “dry cleaning delivery, a home-delivery café, a pet-grass delivery service and weekly Pilates and yoga classes.”
