It probably shouldn’t come as much of a surprise that this Spanish-style residence located in the celeb-filled Bird Streets above the Sunset Strip was, in fact, once owned by a celebrity. Specifically, the five-bedroom, five-bath home formerly belonged to Emmy Award-winner Mariska Hargitay and her husband (and fellow Law & Order: SVU actor) Peter Hermann.

The couple reportedly purchased the property in 2006 for $1,560,000—almost $700,000 under asking price! They parted with the property a little over a year later for $2.65 million, and most of the couple’s real estate dealings since then have been concentrated in New York City, where the incredibly long-running Law & Order spinoff is primarily filmed.

After changing hands a couple more times, this 5,029-square-foot property is now back on the market with the much higher asking price of $4.75 million. In addition to stellar views across the Hollywood Hills, the home offers a dedicated fitness room, wine cellar, and home theater. The pool doesn’t look too bad either—though it’s got nothing on the heart-shaped pool upon which Hargitay’s father had the words “I love you Jaynie” inscribed—a tribute to the actress’s famously curvaceous mother, Jayne Mansfield.

Four of the home’s bedrooms are located in the main residence, while the fifth is part of a connected guest house with a separate entrance and its own kitchen. The house last sold in 2014 for $2.475 million.
