Are you known on your block as the family that goes all out for the holidays? Can the decorations on your house be seen from space? If so, we want to see what you’ve done to the place! As a special edition of our House Calls series, we’re looking for a home that’s been made extra festive for the holidays this year.
The series offers readers a chance to peek inside the homes of Angelenos, from sleek midcentury moderns to bohemian bungalows to carefully arranged micro-apartments. And in this special edition, we’re specifically looking for homes that have been decorated to the hilt for the holiday season.
So bring on your light displays, giant snow globes, nativity scenes, and anything else that fits your idea of what the holidays are all about. If you decorate both inside and outside the house, all the better.
If you’re interested, please send us an email at la@curbed.com (subject line: Holiday House Calls) and, ideally, a few photos. Tell us what neighborhood you live in, what your decorations include, and any other information you think we should know.
Oh, and our apologies, but homes currently on the market will not be considered—though putting a bunch of gaudy decorations on a for sale home would certainly be an interesting selling strategy.
