Cindy Crawford seeks $60M for Malibu beach pad

Crawford and husband Rande Gerber are flipping the home they purchased last year

Supermodel Cindy Crawford and her husband, former model and nightclub entrepreneur Rande Gerber, are ready to move on from a beachfront Malibu home they purchased just last year. Trulia reports that the very good-looking couple have put a fair amount of work into the home since then and are now looking to turn a nice profit with an eye-popping asking price of $60 million.

According to TMZ, Gerber and Crawford paid a little over $50 million for the home and plan to keep several acres of the property to bolster an estate that they also own next door. That still leaves the four bedroom, five bath house with more than three acres of surrounding property, including direct beach access.

Perched on a bluff overlooking the ocean, the 5,254-square-foot residence is constructed in a way that maximizes views in all parts of the house. Wide windows and sliding glass doors adorn the walls, while wraparound porches and decks offer plenty of outdoor seating.

Newer updates to the home include an updated kitchen and remodeled bathrooms. The open living room area leads to a winding staircase that connects with the second level, where the spacious master suite is located. The suite includes a fireplace, two separate bathrooms, and copious closet space.

Other features of the home include a swimming pool, tennis court, and a media room. Is it enough to lure a buyer with $60 million to spare? We’ll have to see.
