‘Friends’ co-creator David Crane lists elaborate penthouse—antiques included

New, 2 comments

Inspired by 1930s Manhattan

Friends co-creator David Crane and Mad About You producer Jeffrey Klarik were the first to buy at The Century, one of the poshest condo towers in Los Angeles. They spent five years designing their Century City penthouse to look like it was straight out of 1930s Manhanntan and amassing fine art and antiques.

Now they’re ready to sell it all and move to London, says listing agent Nick Segal.

Some of the prizes in the antique collection, which are included in the $29.9 million listing price, include, “glass panels from the grand salon of the ocean liner SS Normandie” and a piano that “once belonged to bandleader Paul Whiteman.”

The penthouse holds seven rooms and three outdoor terraces.
