Bright hillside flip in Montecito Heights offers plenty of space to entertain

New, 6 comments

Big front deck and a good-sized kitchen

This newly and thoroughly remodeled two-story in Montecito Heights sold just over a year ago, looking very different than it does now. The upgraded 1,105-square-foot house is hardly recognizable. Hardwood floors run throughout the house, which has updated with new air conditioning and heating, plus updated plumbing and electrical systems and efficient, double-paned windows.

The kitchen has modern white quartz-topped counters and a shiny white subway-tile backsplash. The kitchen shares space seamlessly with the living room.

Each of the house’s three bedrooms is described in the listing copy as a "master" bedroom. (That might be an accurate description; the room that appears in listing photos does look spacious.) The house also has two updated bathrooms.

Out front is perhaps one of the houses coolest features: a large wooden deck with space for entertaining or lounging.

Last sold in June 2015 for $265,000, this overhauled house is listed for $529,900.
