Street artist/muralist/philanthropist/Obama "Hope" poster guy Shepard Fairey and family are ready to get rid of their 1929 Mediterranean in the hills of Los Feliz, just south of Griffith Park. Their one-time residence (they no longer live there) has four bedrooms and bathrooms within its roughly 2,500 square feet of space, reports the Wall Street Journal. The place has retained many of its original features, and is dotted with details like "hand applied plaster" and "high arched-beamed ceilings" in the living room, says the listing. There's also an eat-in kitchen, a formal dining room, and a "hidden creative space" with access to a shared patio.
The residence was often used as a workspace by Fairey, who sketched in one of the bedrooms and in the two-car garage, which he used as a studio. The Faireys bought the house in 2005, paying $1.37 million and adding a "terraced yard" and landscaping to the property, says the WSJ. It's now listed for $1.835 million.
