Don't worry, @MetroLosAngeles – we sweep our subway just like the @Mets will sweep the @Dodgers

Most days, Los Angeles Metro's social media team is busy posting service delay alerts and fielding consumer complaints, but when the Dodgers are in the playoffs, they get a little bit punchy. John Gordon, who heads up Metro's Twitter account, didn't wait long after finding out the Dodgers and Mets would square off in the playoffs before starting some crap with New York City. It wouldn't make sense for Metro to attack the Mets themselves, so they went with next best target, New York's Metropolitan Transit Authority. "We started talking how would we kind of take advantage of that situation, to have some fun there, and ultimately raise the profile of Metro and transit in general," he tells LA Weekly.
