This early 1970s post and beam in Franklin Hills commands some truly vast views from its large, plentiful windows in the common areas and its sizable covered deck. Designed by architect Dick E. Lowry as his private residence, the house has held onto most of its original details, "including colors, textures and surfaces selected by Lowry himself." The three-bedroom house has two bathrooms, a basement workshop with a kiln for firing pottery, and "entire walls dedicated to built-in closets." Last seen in 2013 renting for $5,500 a month, the house is now for sale asking $1.7 million.
