Stunning 1950 Victor Gruen in Beverly Hills Asking $6.75M

Austrian-born architect Victor Gruen is known for his contributions to the architecture of the American shopping mall, but one look at this place in Beverly Hills and it's clear that he's not just a mall-maker. The 1950 house sits on just about a half-acre of land with several mature trees on the property. Inside the one-story dwelling, there are five bedrooms and five bathrooms (four full, one half-bathroom, says the listing), including one that appears to connect to the outdoors—liberating!

Large windows as well as clerestory windows keep things bright and look out on to the backyard, where there is a pool and a guest house. The house also has its own "front sculpture courtyard." The listing mentions that this stylish spread is owned by "Parisian fashion designers"; property records (and a profile in Harper's Bazaar) point to Michel Perrin of French leather specialists Perrin Paris 1893, and his wife, Sally, which is probably why this residence is so exceptionally swanky.
