Jennifer Aniston and her fiancé, actor Justin Theroux, managed to get married yesterday with almost nobody noticing. (Well, everyone knows now). The ceremony, at the deeply glamorous A. Quincy Jones house that Aniston purchased back in 2012 for $21 million and shares with Theroux, would have been a paparazzi-swarmed nightmare says TMZ, if not for the large, vacant mansion conveniently located next to the Aniston-Theroux residence. The big empty estate was used to hide all the trappings of an outdoor wedding (tables, chairs, decorations) until the big day closed in.

It took about a week for the Friends actress's backyard to be outfitted with "a large wooden deck," "elegant seating arrangements for 74 festooned with low, casual ottomans," a stage, and a bar, says People. They also told everyone that the event was just a surprise birthday party (which is a good way to make sure people keep mum).

TMZ thinks that this "storage house" that helped keep the wedding a secret was the 4,375-square-foot estate just to the west of the newlyweds' house, a 1960s house designed by Richard Dorman and marketed as a teardown until it sold after about two years on the market (and many price chops) for $10.7 million at the beginning of 2014.
