Dita Von Teese Buys Badass 1927 Tudor on the Outskirts of Griffith Park in Los Feliz

Burlesque queen Dita Von Teese just bought herself a fitting, vintage, Tudor-style house in the part of Los Feliz that butts right up to Griffith Park. Apparently something of a homebody, as she divulged in an interview with Los Angeles magazine last August, she loves "having a house with a yard, somewhere I can have privacy and sit in a garden," and this place has that in droves. The hideaway, says Trulia, sits on a fantastically forested, .35-acre lot and offers plenty of secluded entertaining space among the oaks and pines of its landscaped grounds.

The backyard also has a detached pool house with a wetbar, half bathroom, and sauna, as well as a "secret garden" and playhouse for the kiddies. Inside the 1927 residence, there are wood-beamed cathedral ceilings, Gothic arches, crown moldings, and a sweet statement fireplace.

Listed back in May for $2.999 million, Von Teese paid $2.83 million.
