West Hollywood Has Made the Best Ever Street Closure Notice

Starting Monday and lasting until the middle of September, La Cienega between Sunset Boulevard and Fountain Avenue in West Hollywood is closing down to allow for work related to the big Sunset|La Cienega project. Nobody likes to be surprised by a street closure, so WeHo's trying to get the word out with The WeHoans, a video (via WeHoville) inspired by the Saturday Night Live sketch The Californians, a soap opera in which stereotypical Angelenos only ever talk about traffic and affairs. The WeHoans one-ups that by mixing RuPaul's Drag Race stars with actual detour suggestions even more hilarious wigs. More episodes will be released later this month.
