Entertainer/abuser Chris Brown has bad luck with real estate. Usually the bad luck stems from his neighbors hating him, for his art-covered exterior walls, or for his combination of loud parties and terrible parking. The most recent incident, at a Tarzana house no one had even noticed he'd bought, involved a break-in that resulted in his aunt being locked in a closet (Brown wasn't home), says the LA Times. The listing for the house touts the place as a "smart home" with 16 security cameras, which sounds pretty safe, but obviously was not enough to deter robbers.
Brown bought the six-bedroom, eight-bathroom house last month, it turns out; it has a two-story foyer, a home theater with seating for 14, impressive doors of "Rich mahogany," wood and stone flooring, and a master suite with its own private balcony. The backyard features a saltwater pool and waterfall, three fire pits, and "room for [a] Tennis court." Listed for $4.495 million, Brown paid $4.35 million.
