This mismatched house-and-owner combo was doomed from the moment last August when colorful, fashionably ridiculous pop singer Kesha bought this traditionally good-looking Venice bungalow. The performer (who dropped the dollar sign in her name after leaving rehab last spring) and the classically Californian house are parting ways, says the LA Times, and the house is on the market once again.
The charmer of a three-bedroom house was never going to work, with its white interiors and its curved ceilings, but it's easy to see the allure. French doors connect the common areas of the house to the backyard. The backyard, with its viney trellis, outdoor fireplace, and converted garage (now an office/studio), seems idyllic. The master bedroom leads directly out to the backyard, too, via giant double doors. The kitchen features a Viking stove, stone countertops, and crisp white cabinets. Kesha paid $1.65 million last summer; it's now listed for $1.849 million.
