The upper-level unit also has a dishwasher and, of course, high ceilings. Rent is $1,800.

↑ This remodeled Palms one-bedroom looks fresh as a daisy with that nice wood flooring, subway tiles in the kitchen, and spiffy paint job. The bright first-floor unit has all new stainless steel appliances and granite counters in the kitchen (including a dishwasher); recessed lighting and new carpet are in place throughout the house. The cat-friendly complex has on-site laundry, gated parking, and a pool. Rent is $1,895.

The apartment has wood floors in the living room, ceiling fans throughout, and a U-shaped kitchen with what looks like a fair amount of storage space. There's a small balcony off the bedroom and his-and-hers sinks in the bathroom. There's no talk of the parking situation in the listing, but then there's pretty much no talk of anything except the complex's pool. Rent is $1,795.
