TV producer/writer/creator Steven Bochco gave the world hard-hitting dramas like NYPD Blue, LA Law, and Doogie Houser MD, and now he's giving us all another gift: a chance to own (or at least look at) this "painstakingly" restored 1951 house by Richard Neutra. Bochco purchased the Milton Goldman Residence in 2006; there's no mention in the listing (first seen on San Fernando Valley Blog) of the cost of the restorations, but these things aren't cheap and this one used "the finest materials." It was all worth it, though—the five-bedroom, five-bathroom house has a treehouse-like quality, surrounded by mature trees and a huge rear lawn, with light-filled interiors featuring walls of glass and beamed ceilings. Last sold in 2006 for $2.85 million, Bochco is now selling for $4.995 million.
