Investor Flipping Madonna's Old Beverly Hills Spread For $28M

New, 2 comments

It's been a year and a half since Madonna sold her enormous Sunset Boulevard spread in Beverly Hills for $19.5 million. The buyer is a trust tied to private equity investor Nick Kaiser. Today the property is back up for sale with no new listing photos, the same description Madonna used, and it's even listed with Madonna's old broker, Kurt Rappaport. But it does have a new asking price: $27.995 million.

Just as it did a year and a half ago, the listing copy tallies nine bedrooms, 15 bathrooms, "two living/reception rooms a two story dining room, a jr dining room, large kitchen/breakfast room/den, a full size screening room/theatre, two offices, assistants offices, a gym, staff rooms, two guest houses, N/S Tennis Court and a resort size pool," all on 1.25 acres set down a long driveway off of Sunset. It also repeats the years-old claim that the house was "recently remodeled." (Maybe it was! Again!)

Madonna and Rappaport originally asked $28 million for the estate, then $22.5 million, before finally selling for under $20 million. That price again, today, is $27.995 million.
