At just 475 square feet, yeah, it's probably not going to be a huge party, but there is a "large" back patio (shared) to spill onto. The kitchen is a little cramped looking—maybe open that oven door a couple times if you plan on baking a lot in there, just to be sure. Rent is $1,195.

↑ The 1923 building that's home to this Hollywood studio apartment is so conveniently located that "EVERYTHING is a walk away." Good thing, too, because it's a street-parking only situation, so there's no chance of losing that great spot just to go out and grab lunch. Rent is $1,050.

↑ This Eagle Rock one-bedroom has been "gutted to the studs" and now features a dishwasher, granite countertops, wood floors, and newish fixtures in the bathroom. The complex has one assigned spot for the unit, plus on-site assigned parking and a pool. Rent is $1,195.

↑ Such an affordable space in West Hollywood means sacrifice. In this studio apartment's case, there is no real kitchen and only a mini-fridge. This is basically a very lovely, well-located, private dorm room, but some people are looking for that. There's on-site laundry and parking for tenants, which kind of make up for having to work around not having a stove. Rent is $1,125.

↑ This Reseda one-bedroom offers new wood floors, wall-mounted air conditioning, ceiling fans, a "breakfast bar," and on-site laundry. There's no assigned parking, though, and on this densely residential street, that might be a problem. Rent is $1,050.
