Megan Ellison Assembling a New Compound on Mt. Olympus

Foxcatcher/American Hustle/Her producer Megan Ellison has just closed on another house right next to her Bond-villain-worthy mansion on Mt. Olympus in the Hollywood Hills. Variety says the place has cool, glassy balconies off most of the five bedrooms; electric sliding doors allow the house to open up out to the pool and decks along the back of the house. Fancy Ipe wood and marble of two different nationalities (Brazilian and Italian!) are used throughout. Ellison bought her new mansion through a "corporate entity" and paid $5.25 million for it. This is her not her first Hills compound: in 2013, she off-loaded a collection of three mansions in the Bird Streets above West Hollywood.
