New, 12 comments

Open House: Sunday, March 15, 2015 between 2 PM - 5 PM 1504 North Kenter Ave, Brentwood

Price: $3,299,000

Floor Area: 2,200 sq. ft.
Per the Listing: "Jetliner views of the ocean, Santa Monica Mountains conservancy, and Downtown LA surround this property. Gated driveway takes you to this fabulous mid-century contemporary masterpiece. Recently updated 3 bedrooms + 4.5 bathrooms with no expense spared; stainless steel appliances, Viking range, Sub-Zero fridge, Poliform cabinets, stainless steel lavatories and toilets, designer brushed concrete floors, Fleetwood floor-to-ceiling windows and doors, and much more! The house features a lap pool, wine cellar, outside laundry house, manicured grounds, and a deck for sunset entertaining. Make this dream house yours!"

Though the listing doesn't mention it, we can't help but wonder if this 1955 post and beam in Crestwood Hills is one of the remaining thirty designed by the team of A. Quincy Jones, Whitney Smith, and Edgardo Contini, given its beamed ceilings, clerestory windows, walls of glass, and date of construction. Another salient feature/possible clue: the very cool architecturally themed brass relief mural on an exterior wall.
