Wexler & Harrison's Lilliana Gardens Glass House in Palm Springs Asks $1.7MM

New, 8 comments

The tenth annual Modernism Week has just kicked off in Palm Springs, so in honor of that, let's take a gander at a quintessential Desert Modern that has just joined the market. Located in the Mesa neighborhood, the four-bedroom, three-bath post and beam was designed by Donald Wexler and Richard Harrison in 1954. Per the listing: "The current owner spent 7 years lovingly restoring this exceptional home & consulting with Donald Wexler for his input throughout on how to retain the original artistry but use modern fixtures & finishes for the perfect marriage with todays living. With its sharp angles, clean lines & walls of glass, there is ever changing light & shadows which make this home a living piece of art!" The 3,000-square-foot home was listed back in February 2013 at $1.98 million, and has cycled on and off the market several times since then. Its new asking price is $1.695 million.
