As her character Cookie on the hit TV show Empire, Taraji P. Henson is know for her bold outfits (lots of leopard print) and extremely bold attitude—the actress's Beachwood Canyon house, by Cookie's standards, is pretty tame. Built in 2009, the exterior has some Moorish touches, but inside the place is deeply contemporary. As Trulia notes, the house has nice high ceilings and one of its four bedrooms has been converted into a dedicated dressing room with "a salon chair, and a bathroom with a shampoo bowl."
The tri-level Hollywood Hills mansion, which Henson bought in 2011, also includes a wine cellar with space for more than 600 bottles, three fireplaces, an in-home theater, and multiple chandeliers. Throughout the house, there is no shortage of elaborately decorated wood, from the kitchen's carved island to the staircase bannister in the entry. Outdoor entertaining areas and "established gardens" are also part of the property. Henson's selling for $3.25 million.
