Here Are the Four Teams That Will Compete to Redesign Downtown LA's Hated Pershing Square

The competition to redesign Downtown Los Angeles's Pershing Square into a less easily mockable park has just moved into high gear. After opening the competition in September, officials with Pershing Square Renew (the nonprofit heading up the redesign quest) chose 10 preliminary proposals for a redesign. Now, they've whittled those 10 semifinalist teams down to just four, according to a release from the nonprofit. Those four will now get to work on fleshing out their designs and preparing complete versions for a March 2016 presentation to the public and the jury that will ultimately choose who renovates Pershing Square. Here are the four teams who will be presenting their final designs in the spring:
