Reality TV star and designer Lauren Conrad took what was a pretty dowdy penthouse in Beverly Hills (it's possible!) and turned it into a fabulous living space, but it wasn't easy. Conrad bought the condo in 2012, and performed what a new listing for the unit (via the LA Times) says was a down-to-the-studs overhaul that included new custom cabinets in the kitchen, alterations to the spiral staircase, and the addition of a "20 foot reclaimed brick wall" in the living room.
The two-story residence has two bedrooms (one downstairs) and two and a half bathrooms, a cocktail bar, a ridiculously large closet, and a master bathroom with his-and-hers sinks and a very intense vanity. Up on the top floor, there's also a fantastic roof deck with monochromatic marble tiles. Conrad bought the dwelling for $1.35 million in 2012; she's now asking $3.2 million for it.
