Mexican Modernist architect Ricardo Legorreta's showpiece Casa Shapiro has been listed twice since 2013, but it's hard to imagine what's not to love about the walled private compound near the Brentwood Country Club. Situated on a three-quarter-acre lot, the nearly 8,200-square-foot residence holds six bedrooms, eight bathrooms, and a ground-level master suite that overlooks the compound's gardens and swimming pool.
The interiors offer Legorreta's signature bold colors, as well as "careful design and detail to window framing and skylights." The landscaped grounds include a sports court, a cabana, an outdoor kitchen, and a spa. Last listed in 2014 for $10.995 million, the Casa Shapiro is now asking even more: $11.495 million.
